Step 3 will look like Step 1 and Step 2 in terms of the dispute process. In Step 3 we start to focus on rebuilding credit. We do this by not only continuing to dispute negative marks on the three credit reports, but also safe/guaranteed plays.
Credit inquiries can be damaging and sag a credit score. It would be wasteful to make incremental gains and increase your credit score through the dispute process, only to lower the score with excessive inquiries. The reason we warn against applying for any credit early on, is for this reason.
However, once we start working on Step 3, opportunities to apply for “sure thing” credit starts to open. Credit CDU cannot guarantee you approval, but historically the new credit options listed in Step 3 have the highest approval ratings, are the most forgiving, and some are GUARANTEED APPROVAL.
The dispute process continues, much like the previous round. Once you have received your updated credit reports from all three bureaus after the second round, examine each report to determine what remains. Then repeat the same process, ensuring that you ONLY dispute items that are negative marks, that remain on your credit report.
